Margaret “Marga” Crisostomo is an actor based in Manila, Philippines. She is most interested in working on straight plays, films, TV and web series, and narrative podcasts; but really, she’ll work in any medium as long as the material intrigues her. She fell in love with performing in grade school, joining school productions until she graduated from high school. In college, she joined the Ateneo Blue Repertory (blueREP), where she performed in many of the organization’s productions: Some Knights (2014), Breakups & Breakdowns (2015), and Real-Life Fairytales (2016). She also served as assistant director to Andrei Pamintuan and Boo Gabunada for the 2016 production of Stages of Love. In 2018, she received a “Loyola Schools Awards for the Arts (LSAA) in Theater Arts: Performance” for her contribution to the arts during her time at the university.
Since then, Marga has acted in short films and started voice acting. She narrated and co-produced a fantasy fiction podcast by SJFT Podcasts called Joan Kendrick and the Realms of Lahr, released in late 2023. She continues to hone her craft by taking improvisational theater classes with Third World Improv and Meisner acting classes with Sightlines Actors’ Space.
